Your Digital Footprint Matters Video Contest

In an effort to increase awareness of responsible citizenship, KidsMatter has partnered together with School Districts 203 & 204, and the Naperville Police Department, to offer students the opportunity to participate in anti-cyber bullying/ responsible digital citizenship video contest.

The Your Digital Footprint Matters Video Contest is designed to give students in Naperville School District 203 & Indian Prairie 204 the opportunity to submit student-created videos individually, or as a group, to help promote cyber-safety and combat electronic bullying.

Upload the video to your Google Drive and share it with:

*Include your name, grade, school and contact info (email & phone)
You must complete the online
video submission form to be considered.

The submission deadline is January 17, 2018.

Winning Student Directors will receive:

1st Place Elementary School —$200.00
1st Place Jr. High/Middle School —$200.00
1st Place High School —$200.00

Additionally, the first place winner will receive a $500 grant for his/her school’s technology department.

All winners will receive the cash award along with trophies and pictures with the Mayor at the Hollywood Premiere Red Carpet Event at the Community Christian Church on February 12, 2018.

Host the 14th Annual Skaters’ Picnic

Last Fling Skaters' Picnic

Skaters of all ages and their families are invited to the 14th annual Skaters’ Picnic at the Centennial Beach Skate park in downtown Naperville on Saturday, September 2, from 11 am – 2 pm during the Jaycees’ Last Fling Celebration. This FREE event hosted by KidsMatter, the Naperville Police Department, and the Park District Police will provide skaters with a free lunch, a free raffle ticket for some amazing prizes, and a free t-shirt to the first 100 skaters. Character Skateboards will bring professional skaters to perform skate demonstrations Ben Wiersum Sound Technology will provide live music and other highlights of the event include a doughnut eating contest and skateboard games.
