Skaters’ Picnic

Centennial Beach Skate Park on Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
~All skaters are invited to attend a free picnic lunch served by the Naperville Police, Naperville Park District Police and KidsMatter. This year’s celebration will include performances by Character Skateboards from Chicago and a pie eating contest between the police and skaters.

Youth Volunteer Fair

Naperville Municipal Center on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM.
~Students in grades 6 – 12 are invited to attend this free Fair and connect with 25+ local organizations and agencies who offer a wide variety of volunteer youth service opportunities.

Naperville Family Week

Celebrating National Family Day all week long!  September 27, 2010 to October 3, 2010.
~KidsMatter celebrates the national movement created by CASA, the Center on Addiction & Substance Abuse, as a way to inform parents that parental engagement fostered during frequent family dinners is an effective tool to help keep America’s kids substance free.
